“People who care about community” Our mission statement: “Our purpose is to provide a forum for the expression of community interests and also to facilitate social, recreational and educational activities.” This mission is accomplished by: - Providing a forum for the discussion and expression of community interests. - Coordinating and promoting educational, social and recreational community activities of many kinds for the benefit of the community. - Representing local community interests within the county and state governments through communication and negotiation with local officials. Also, we encourage members of the community to take an active role in the same. - Addressing specific needs of the community and taking action via our committees. - Communicating information of interest to the community via tools such as this website, email newsletters and other efforts by our communications committee. - Helping to support and to assist our neighbors in times of need.
