Anne Goetze resides in the Leipers Fork area and is probably best known for her paintings of the local scenery and our local residents. Her specialities are oils and oilographs. The oilograph is now an extremely rare technique. Photographs are printed on special fibrous photographic paper. Then, the images are carefully colored with oil paints. The method is extremely labor intensive due to the painstaking detail required, but the results are quite spectacular. Click on the image of your choice to enlarge. |
